"Capacity building versus being a couch potato"
I have chosen to write about this because it is one aspect of life which can greatly determine how far you go in life. Most of us would rather stay in bed and watch series or movies the whole day, everyday. Sadly this behaviour can be compared to be hooked on a deadly drug, rather not to your body necessarily but to your brain development. Most people out there would rather sit and wait for things to appear out of the blue and be handed to them, this abnormal circle goes on and on creating people whose brain cannot comprehend past economic and social parameters in which our day to day life is govern. I would rather prefer to read a book or pursue a course which i know in the end of the day will stretch my thinking capabilities and make me stand out in my community. Capacity building is as important as constructing a foundation right before you building a house. Without a foundation, the structure at hand will never withstand even the slightest of malaise. I would recommend for you to go out there and challenge yourself, critically psycho-analyze the person within you, would you rather stay a couch potato or get up and make a difference in your society or better yet the world. I would rather want to be remembered as the man who made his voice heard and left a legacy than the man who was known for his couch potato tendencies.
